Hello everyone,
I actually starte dmy weightloss journey a little over a year ago, I had already started losing some weight, when I checked the scale and was still 310 pounds.:frown: I had just started watching what I ate, quit drinking alcohol and started walking. Since then I got to a low of 207 pounds.
Recently I have seen it gain back up to 219 punds, and want to do whatever I can to get that in check. I know a big part of my gaining was a reduction of the stress that originally caused to weight loss. So I have joined here to track what I eat, and hopefully get down to about 200!

Hi Pat AND Lauri, and welcome to THE best site on the web!
Between the easy to use food counter (which by the way is SUCH an eye opener!) and all the wonderfully supportive members, you WILL be able to lose the weight that you want to, AND, it'll "almost" be easy doing it!
I recommend logging ALL your foods BEFORE you have them, rather than later, as it tends to lead to better food choices. (not to mention you'll know if you've got enough numbers left to have a night time snack, like I ALWAYS try to do!) Some people also like to weigh and measure some things, such as meats, rather than just estimating and possibly being WAY off!
Also, drink lots of water, that seems to help alot too. :drinker:0 -

Thanks for the welcome kids!
I have been doing okay until last night. My daughter and I went to a chinese place, and:frown: , that sure is an eye opener. Time to get back on track. The planning meals ahead is a godsend. I am cooking dinner for a date tonight, and have already realized I can't eat a lot early today to make up for it.
Also, how do you add the track bar to posts?0
