How should I set up my nutrition percentages? I'm thinking 4

A little about me first. I'm 28, 5'8" and as of today am 248lbs. I've always been active and participate in team sports and long boarding weekly. I currently lift 3 days a week and do cardio 3-5 times a week as well. Just got my blood lab values back and everything is looking great. My blood pressure is in the 120 range and my resting heard rate is in the mid 50-60 range. So I consider myself pretty healthy. But I'm also a bit of fatty and this must change so my goal is really to shed the pounds.
Anyway I currently have my Daily goal at 1850 calories and a 40/30/30 split
Protein 185g
carbs 139g
Fat 62
Have others had success with this kind of breakdown? I would Iove to hear from someone else whom has had similar stats like mine. Curious to know what you did.

That's the pretty accepted ratio that people recommend around these forums. I have mine at 35 protein / 35 carbs / 30 fat, but only because I never seemed to be able to meet my protein goal when I had it at 40%
Good luck! I think you've got the right idea already :]0 -
