Cite your dang sources

A little knowledge goes a long way, right? But spreading false information is damaging to people, because people ACT on that information like it is the word of god. And then THEY go spreading it around, just continuing the harmful cycle. Hence "starvation mode" getting thrown around all the time. And "don't eat after 6:34pm".

Please, for the love of humanity, cite professional and trusted sources if you are going to tell people stuff. Like this water thread that is being discussed--"Your brain is made of water, so water helps you think." WHAT? That sounds crazy. It may be true, but it sounds like some crazy *kitten*.

It's really hard for newbies, and even MFP veterans to dig through the crap that is being thrown around on the forums. I am much more likely to take someone and something seriously if a medical journal or lab testing is cited.

I am just going to leave this here...http://www.alanaragonblog.com/
