What do I do now?
I lost all my weight by eating around 1200 calories a day and working out. When I tried to maintain my goal weight I kept loosing till I just started eating a lot more and now I am above my goal weight and want to get back down, but dont want to just end up gaining back again.
It makes sense that I slowed my metabolism way down and will gain if I eat more now, but what do I do?
Thank you for your advise.

If you did damage/slow your metabolism by consuming low calories for too long of a period, then weight gain is inevitable and should be understood without fear. By eating more calories your not only gaining weight but your also repairing your slowed metabolism. If you also include weight training, hiit 3 or 4 times a week as well as some cardio your body will also make the adaption to add muscle mass to further improve your metabolism. The weight gain will eventually stop and your metabolism will establish a new maintenance level, where your weight becomes fairly constant, but you should see improvement in the mirror and feel better. Seize this time as an advantage and work towards a more toned and fitter body as opposed to falling intpo the yo-yo pattern of dieting that many find themselves. This is a very basic explaination of how you can switch things around, good luck and forget the weight and use your mirror for confirmation.0

Thank you, I do workout. I use the elliptical as well as Jillan's DVD's Maybe the amount of calories that I am burning and not eating back is a factor? I am just confused and frustrated that after losing the weight and becoming very happy with my body for once. That now I am gaining back and feel like I have no control over it.0
