Post baby belly - prolapse

Hi girls,
I am a small 5'3" girl. I don't have a huge amount to lose, probably about 22lbs, and I am half way there.
My issue is my belly. I thought it was fat, but as I have lost the weight but none of the inches around my middle, I realise that my tummy muscles are totally shot to pieces. I had a prolapsed uterus after my second baby - I had quite big babies given my own size.
I am REALLY self conscious of my tummy as, even though I am not big, I constantly look several months pregnant.
Is there hope for me? Has anyone else been in the same situation and managed to regain that muscular control around your stomach? I find it so demoralising.
