I am sooo sorry!!! I completely forgot to make a new thread last night! My sister's dog came with my husband, so it's been really crazy! I promise I won't ever forget again!!!

proud of u yeah ive had a stressful 3 weeks im not sure im gonna go on the scale untl after the holiday (intense dieting and excercise) will report back soon0

I forgive you! I was looking this morning though since my time is totally different than everyone else's. I am down 1 lb. I have been yoyoing so bad I am not sure but I swear this time I am on track. Yesterday was great and so was today. Here's to the rest of the week! Ahh I forgot Easter was this week and I have to cook. Hmm what to make that is not to unhealthy.0

Christine-One thing that this month has taught me is that life is always going to cause things to get in the way, but we can still lose weight as long as we plan... Ugh!!! This month seems to have had sooooo many curve balls for all of us! I hope you have a wonderful Easter, and if you find something good to eat, LET ME KNOW!!!! I have no clue what to make for it, either...
Ari-keep on going, and you'll do just fine! I know that you will have some great results this break... Less stress, and you'll be able to fit in some great workouts!
Meg-I have a feeling that next week is going to have some huge numbers for us all, especially with you starting P90X over! I know that my body went into some serious overtime after quitting the program for 6 days when my daughter got really sick. I've seen some big changes since starting again, and I know you will too!0 -
Hello All!
Sorry I missed out yesterday. I had an absolutely awful day. I was sick for some odd reason (stress I think, its almost exam time). So i was on my way to my class which is an hour drive away, and I had to pull over to throw up :sick: . THen I get back on the highway and not but ten minutes later I get pulled over :mad: and get a ticket for going 5 over :explode: Needless to say it was a really bad day.
Today is a new day though, and it is going to be a good one. I have class 9-12 then I will be doing my shoulders and arms workout, half hr of yoga, and a 20 min run. So I am pumped :drinker:
No weigh in yesterday as I have decided to give up the scale for 2 wks, I am becoming obssessed with it even though my pants are getting looser. SO i am kicking the habit :happy:0 -
I am so sorry that you had such a crappy day!!! I swear, this is just the MONTH of bad days for everyone... I know that you'll do great later, and hopefully we'll all have a much better rest of the week!0

only can talk for a min the holiday starts in an hour and i gotta finish getting ready. mom did for first time 30 day shred with me and was so happy she was sweating like a pig lol. decided against weighing myself until the holiday is over but mama says wait a week after cause of salty food i shall see. i will get in my walks and bonus walks cause until the 24th everyday is gonna be workout day for me (well walking wise 30-60 min i may make mother go with me the long beautiful place cause it doesnt feel like a workout despite the massive hills. grandmother is here for holiday she said she will walk down the block i will try although possibly will fail to get her around the block wish me luck .....i will miss u all im not neglecting u, know that, i cant be on the computer over the holiday (if u want further explanation i dont mind at this point sharing with u cause ur like my second family just ask and ill explain when i get back) so i wont be back on until sat night sun morn the latest. i will be thinking of u and i hope u will do the same. i will be good no cheating or slacking even made alternative side dishes for myself....roasted veggies and sweet potatos also will be making sliced apples with almonds and stuff again will share all when time isnt going so fast.
be strong my ppl while im away eat well excercise and remember my motto :smooched:

So I have come back to report that so far today is a much better day. I had class and took a nap :yawn: then got started on finishing this paper. I got antsy though and am proud to say that instead of eating or watching tv I got up and went for my job with the pup. She is now pooped and laying at my feet He He :laugh:
Still have to do shoulders and arms tonight but I want to get at least 5 more pages of this paper done before I do that.

So far, the crazy canine is doing well! The only mishap so far-she got a hold of an air filter for my vehicle, which is very much needed with the volcano ash that we're trying to be prepared for. I bought the last 2 air filters left here in town for my vehicle, and so now after she ate the first, I'm down to one spare. It's an understatement to say that my husband was NOT happy...
I am so glad to hear that you're doing better! And as for waiting to work out until you get your paper partway done... I know how you feel trying to prioritize, and it's good to know that you're planning things out! You're going to do great!:flowerforyou:0 -

Yesterday went well with the working out and paper writing, which makes me happy. Today I am at work all day then when I get home I will do my legs and back workout. I am actually pretty excited for it :drinker: Then today i will continue posting my foods on here so you guys can hold me accountable!
And hopefully late tonight I will get a chance to finally take some pictures and post them, I am really bad about doing it :blushing:

I'm glad that things worked out for you last night, and good luck with legs and back!!! I finally got to the point where I can do all of the wall squats without taking extra breaks!! Whoo-hoo!!!

Hello there,
Not having the greatest night :ohwell: I took my first set of pictures, and they are awful. So far I have only lost six lbs in almost 2 months !
Im really discouraged...and to top it all off i came home to do my legs and back workout and the dvd didnt work! :mad: I think someone spilled alcohol on it, last time i had friends over :sad:
This week is not my week :sad:
(the pictures are up in my profile if you want to take a look, I figure I will take my next set when I lose 15lbs, which will hopefully be soon!)0 -
Meg-trust me when I say that you are EONS ahead of me when it comes to your pics... I won't even take pictures for ME to see alone without a shirt on.:blushing:
As for your DVD... I'd be hunting down some friends and giving them a little talk about purchasing a new dvd... Hopefully you can do something later to compensate for a missed workout?:ohwell:

Do you think you think if I did plyo instead of legs that would be ok? Then do cardio x on the plyo day, lol? Im confusing I know Because I figure that plyo is mainly squats and leg work, at least for now anyways....:grumble: Thank you for the compliment Resa :blushing: I guess it's just frightening seeing it on the screen lol :noway:

Meg- I would kill to look like that. It is just hard for us to see ourselves, especially in pictures exposing all! I hate to look at my pictures but then I look at them all together and see huge differences. I still have to put my newest on my page.
Thessa- Ok so I downloaded on of the Couch 2 5 K podcasts on itunes. How did you get music to over lay it, cause the one I downloaded is just silent except when he is talking. Since we have been having nice weather I have been outside doing running and walking. I found a great workout mix on Itunes by Shape and want to overlay it.0 -
Christine- I am hoping to be able to see the difference soon, which is my point for putting the pics up but I just thought that I would have lost more by now :grumble:
But I know that even if I am not losing as fast as I would like to I am just going to keep on trucking along and do my best, cuz what else am I going to do? Sit around and gain more weight ? :noway: No way he he...

Meg-I think it would be just fine to do switch out cardio workouts... Just as long as you're not doing 2 in one day, you'll alright!
Christine-I have a Mac, so with it I have a program called Garage Band, which lets me transfer music... I'm not too sure what kind of computer you have, so let me know, and I'll try to help!!!0 -
Where's are Mister this week? He should be weighing in at work today. I know he said he was busy with his house and all. Just sad to see it down to so few. At least there are us though.0

Okay, maybe this makes me a traitor to the P90X program, but I did Tae Bo last night, and ended up burning almost 700 calories!!! I think that I might do it instead of Kenpo X from now on... I burned so many more calories doing Tae Bo than I would have if I had done Kenpo-usually I can get around 450-500 calories...0

I have always wondered about tae bo....I used to box alot and I felt like I was going to die after an hour. I am def tired after kenpo but not about to die. Maybe ill substitute boxing with my heavy bag for kenpo this wk and compare the calorie burn.
Resa are you eating your exercise cals? Im still on the fence about them cuz I am obviously not losing that much weight. U know everyone says to eat them, but I think I am going to stop eating them just to see. Are you running on a treadmill for the couch to 5 k
Slight update: last night i had drinks with some friend and only had 3 light beers! whoo hoo! :drinker: I stayed within my calorie rang too :happy:
But this morning I did not want to get out of bed and had a bit of a hangover, so I am at work and on my 15 min break I decided to run the stairs. 200 cals in 15 minutes and 30 flights. And now I feel great, no hangover :blushing:0 -
You know, I used to be really skeptical about eating exercise calories... But then my weight loss went to a complete stand-still, and I know it's because my body decided it had enough and went into starvation mode... I mean, there were some days when I was burning 1200 calories from playing volleyball, and then I'd burn another 300+ calories from P90X... I think that when I was eating around 1500 calories it was causing me to stop losing. On days when my calorie burn is really high, I give myself a little cushion to fuel myself more. Christine has lost some major weight, so maybe we should ask her?0

hello my people i missed u did u miss? these days have been hard i ate well added cheese back boy did i miss it i used a scale which was crap but it worked for its purpose 3 ozs cheese for 3 portions very small portion of cheese too tired to write right now but i shall see u all soon0

My in-laws came up this weekend and brought me their old computer!!!!!! So we just got it hooked up!!!!! I have a bunch of catching up to do and will still be busy this weekend, but I'm here!!
