Sorry the Cypress Hill song popped in my head as I was posting this topic.

I think starting monday I'm going to try a workout experiment. I'm going to do my normal work out routine for one week but I'm also doing to do an hour a day of something mentally challenging. Puzzles, games, word problems and anything that will make my brain work super hard. They say the brain is the biggest user of calories so I would like to test this theory for weightloss. Who is with me? Please share comments and concerns and thoughts.

Also if you guys know any good brain challenges let me know! :flowerforyou:

get some of those metal puzzle toys, that are linked together and only separate one way by flipping them around.

    Cypress Hill...

Your brain uses calories all the time to help your body to function, but thinking more won't burn extra calories. Still, challenging your mind is always a good thing. I think that's a great idea!

Very serious! I'm going to try and prove the theory that the brain burns more calories.

No, but it's good to exercise your mind.

well I guess we will have to see. I will start monday and do a daily weight and see if I gain, lose or stay the same. I will continue to do my daily workout and base changes off of my progress from this week.
