I am struggling with my sodium intake. I know a lot of it comes from processed foods, wich is my down fall I am not a very good cook. How do you avoid sodium, what kind of things do you eat that have very little or no sodium. Is there a way to get rid of extra sodium inyour system? I am lost when it comes to this as you can tell :embarassed:

the cold truth is to cut down sodium you have to cut down processed foods

there are many many benefits to eating less processed foods in addition to controlling your sodium

    move in that direction
you will soon detect the high soidum levels that you now probably dont hardly taste

    it is amazing

    good luck:smile:

I agree with Dave. And if you get a crockpot (priced reasonable - 20 to 40 dollars), you don't have to be a good cook or need to be stuck in the kitchen cooking for hours.

Once you make the change, you will wonder how you ever ate that other stuff before.
