So for a long time now, I've heard great things about this stuff! I bought some at wal-mart last night, got home, tried it, and wanted to spit it out. It tasted horrible to me. I guess I was expecting more of a milky flavor? What do you guys think of it? Do you like the regular better than the vanilla flavor?

The vanilla is too sweet for me, so i normally go for original or unsweetened.
I can't eat dairy so don't remember the taste of regular cow's milk, but i honestly swear by Silk Almond Milk (and they have the dark chocolate milk too, which is so good, IMO)0 -
I prefer Blue Diamond unsweetened vanilla almond milk - 40 calories per 8 ounces........or the coconut-almond blend which is 45 calories per 8 oz!0

I like the Almond Breeze brand Almond Milk. I buy the original and not the vanilla flavor because I also bake with it. I think it tastes good.0

I actually like the Vanilla Silk Almond Milk. I use it in my chocolate protein shake. Tastes really good.
Did you shake it before drinking it?0 -
I like the vanilla sweetened flavor, Both Silk and Almond Breeze. It has been years since I've had cow's milk and I don't really remember what it tastes like. I use the vanilla flavor in baking and the regular in things that I don't want to add a sweet flavor. Before diving right in and drinking it, maybe eat it on cereal for a while.0

Well almond milk definitely is different than regular milk. It has a sweeter taste to it. I prefer Trader Joe's Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk in the refrigerated section. It's hands down the best tasting almond milk I've ever had.0

I only like it in smoothies or used in cooking. I can't drink it straight or on cereal...don't like it.0

I drink Unsweetened Almond Milk. The Vanilla has to many carbs for my liking.0

I found it was a taste that grew on me. I first started using it in things that called for milk. It's great for cereal. I like it better than milk now. I now drink the Vanilla unsweetened Almond milk for 35 cal. I use it in my protein shakes and it's very good.0

No, I didn't. Was I supposed to?0 -
I've been getting the Silk Vanilla for awhile, my local store just started carrying the lite version which is only 70kcals per 1 cup. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it in my cereal or in my coffee. If I put it in coffee I don't add sugar as it is sweeter than regular milk0

For those of you who love almond milk, argo tea now stocks it also so you can get your coffee (or tea!) with it on the RUN!!! If only starbucks would follow their lead!0
