What are people's opinions on compression tights? yes ? no?
For me, it doesn't necesarily seem to stop DOMS setting in after a training but it does seem to let me survive the next one 2 days later, a the peak of my DOMS curve (I train martial arts and kicking = big eccentric contractions = amazing DOMS)

I would think they are just like any other sports clothing, it would all depend on the quality and the intended use. I would imagine just like running shoes there would be different tights for different uses and person. I use 'Skins' and they do the job for me ie groin/hip pain0

they are very good if you do not like
To get cold chills after working out
Sweat drenched clothing
Chaffing
The fibres of the fabric and the weaves, are designed so that they are breathable, and do not get soaked in sweat, keep the body and muscles warm, keep air circulating.
i find them to be very good for running.0
