I recall watching Cable guy. Personally wasnt my favorite but I didnt hated it either. I think some movies just make a comeback long after their release (think scarface).

I think the humour was ahead of it's time, whenever I watch Cable Guy I think it's what a lot of comedians would write these days... what with the increased use of surrealism and darkness in humour which wasn't at all popular in the early 90s0 -
