Who wants an excuse to get glammed up for an evening of entertainment and also contributing to a worthwhile cause? (in Yorkshire)

On 31st March this year, me and some of my friends are organising a Charity Ball (Forget-Me-Not Ball) to raise money and awareness of Mesothelioma. Mesothelioma is a form of cancer which is caused by exposure to asbestos and is terminal. I lost my Dad to this disease in December 2010 and the father of one of the other girls in the team has also been diagnosed with the same.

The Forget-Me-Not Ball is, as previously stated, on 31st March 2012 at Kellington Manor Hotel, North Yorkshire. It will consist of Champagne on arrival, a 3 course meal, live entertainment from comedian/singer Danny Tetley, an auction and raffle, followed by a disco. Tickets are £35 per person and we currently have about 20 tickets left out of 200.

If anyone in the Yorkshire region would be interested in coming along to support this fantastic charity or if anyone from anywhere would like to make a donation please please let me know.....

    Just want to wish you well with your fund raiser Fran. I live too far away but whenever we´re back in the UK Yorkshire is one of our main ports of call as my hubs is a big Leeds United fan!
    You´ve done well to sell so many tickets so I´m sure you´ll soon get the last few sold, but good luck and enjoy getting glammed up too :flowerforyou:
