Music to work out to..

Options
Quick question for everyone.

What kind of music do you listen to while you work out? Do you have a favorite that you walk or run to? There's so many great artists out there, but I can't think of any motivation! Argh! :D Maybe someone out there can help..

Thanks in advance! :D

Oooh, you just asked a music freak.

    Just Dance- Lady Gaga
    U + Ur Hand- Pink
    Shake It- Metro Station

Those are just three of my favorite workout songs. I'm at my aunt's house, and I don't have my iPod, so I can't give you my whole list.

I agree with Tiffany, and also have to add, if you like those songs, I think you might also like

Dance Dance - Fall out Boy
    Single Ladies - Beyonce
    Right Round - Flo Rida
    Hot-N-Cold - Katy Perry
    Sober - P!nk
Get This Party Started - P!nk (Actually a lot of P!nk's songs are probably good to get up and move to. =] Haha)
Pocketful of Sunshine - Natasha Bedingfeild

And thats about all I can find that's very upbeat, at the moment on my itunes.
I'm a bit of a music freak too, and I'm actually really trying not to go too overboard on ya, xD

If you have an iPod, go to the iTunes store and browse the podcasts. I found lots of workout music and it was all free.

I get Shape magazine and each month they feature music lists for working out. You can go on their website www.shape.com/playlist and get the music selection. I love it when I have new music to work out to. Makes me excited to get on the treadmill to see what is next! Especially if it's a song I haven't heard in a long time or never at all!

These are all great hope you don't mind me stealin a few for my play list.
If you still want more, as a general, you would love techno.
Any techno music is something that always gets you going.
Also another thing i do (that is very 13 of me but o-well)
I don't get dressed up in a bunch of gym clothes.
I'll do my make-up, my hair, and find some sexy clothes, and heels to work out in while i watch myself dance in the mirror.
If your dancing your more incline to work out for a longer pd of time because your actually enjoying yourself more and having more fun.
If you like the way you look all snazzily made up while your watching yourself in the mirror, you can pretend your doing a rock show or something.
    However im a weirdo lol
But like i said Techno music will pump you up and you can really get into.

BTW: did you know that if you sing along to a song while your dancing or running, it is better for you?
You learn how to control your breathing better. And you can go for a much longer pd of time too.
So start singing out LOUD!!!

    :smokin:
