    i do wonder sometimes tho, do men get the response they want from us? like when my husband has finished a new model and shows me all the intricate work he did, i always say "thats so cool, way to go sweetie" or something like that... i wonder if women out there are giving their men the "right" response...

    When we first got married and I would tell my husband about how I was feeling his first responce was to fit it. It took me a while to explain to him I do not want to be silenced by a solution. I can get my own solution. I just want to talk or complain about it and be understood. He now does not try to be the fixer unless I ask for help. Its so much better now. Men to need to be taught this. Its ok, they just truely don't know. Good life lesson for both men and women.

    The book "Men are from Mars... Women are from Venus" explains this PERFECTLY!!! It also explains the man's basic needs as well by the way. hehe :)
