Shamrock Shuffle Chicago?

Is anyone else doing the Shamrock Shuffle 8K in Chicago next month? Last weekend, I flew out to CA and did the Redondo Beach Super Bowl 5K. I signed up for the Shuffle when I got home, and now I'm looking out the window at huge blops of snow coming down. I'm thinking the weather will be at least this bad for the race. Cold weather (not just cold...cruddy, slushy, windy weather) tips for running?

    I ahve doen this one 2 years in a row! I have to do it again this year!!! hungover as usual.............hahahahah:bigsmile:

    Ill be there!
    as for running in the cold, get decent gloves and layer but dont overdue it, you dont want to die sweating because you have too many clothes on

    Forecast is sunny and 65 for race day, should be in the 50s around start time. Can't wait!
