Well, I figured I would start the thread for today since I didn't see one started. After a weekend of going WAYYY over on my sodium (stupid noob :grumble: ) and taking two day of LOW sodium meals and tons of water...I am down to 303!! Which means I have lost 27 pounds altogether since January 5th!! I have been doing good on my calories, doing good with my exercise, and drinking that water!!
Hope everyone else is doing good!

    Good for you plussizemommy. I am feeling sick the last 2 days, half my office is out with strep throat.
    I also need a few low sodium days but right now I need to work on getting better. I have upped my workout to 60 minutes on the elliptical, that is 30 minutes longer than I was doing. Hope you all have a great day.:drinker:

    good for you PSM! i'm lost one of my 2 lbs i gained from my sodium overload- i'm hoping that i'll the water i've been drinking will flush the rest out before the end of the challenge! :drinker:

    i had a rest day monday, and pilates class last night- but should step it up on the exercise for the rest of the week. i've done 15/17 days so far, so i will make that goal.
    i have a huge job interview on friday morning that i'm stressing about- but i'm REALLY trying to not turn to food. keep your fingers crossed!! :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:

    PSM- you mentioned that you do tae bo dvds- which ones do you have, and do you like them? good workout?

    hi eggstra/easter team ~

    only down .2 this week, and ok with that. not sure i'll make goal, but i am gonna try hard the next 2 days....need to be down 2.2 more by Friday......

    and am on day 11 of 17 for the exercise challenge. i could have done better with that, and see room for improvement...will try harder to exercise regularly.

    keep at it guys....we can do this!
  • I use the Billy Blanks tae-bo that is shown on my on-demand channels. It is a very good workout and if you go to fatburn.com you can find out how many calories it burns, where I am heavier than you, I burn more calories than you probably would. But, like I said fatburn.com will tell ya! I'm going to go this weekend and see if I can find some more dvds by him.

    Mornin' ladies!

    I went to gym last night - felt so good....did 5 minute warmup on elliptical, 20 minutes of strength, 30 on elliptical 10 on bicycle and 10 on treadmill. I think total burned 604 calories.

    Hope to get to excercise today - trying to prepare for vacation!! Finished taxes to mail while on Vacation - I refuse to do it sooner than April 15. All I have left is to shop for groceries for my MIL who will stay at our house while we're gone to take care of the animals - she can't drive so she just stays here for us-way better than a kennel for the critters.

    Congrats to all the great work everyone is doing. :bigsmile: Glad to hear you guys are making great choices for you new HEALTHY LIFE Styles! WOOHOO!

    Yesterday was a big flub on food for me - a friend returned from a deployment so we spent last night catching up, eating chinese food, and drinking a bit. :noway: WHOOPS! It was nice and I didn't actually eat that much of the chinese food - and of course got steamed rice and ate the veggies. So - hopefully I'll be alright come Friday - especially considering my foot. Which, thank you ladies, it feels a lot better today! Hopefully I'll be back to the gym by Thursday - which will only put me at about 13/17 days, but that's better than NONE at all! :drinker:

    Today is 14/17 for me....

    Opera - you can't help being hurt - you've done great. You hae to enjoy life and sometimes that's a celebration - you'll work it right back off.

    Hi ladies!

    Sorry I'm so late. I had a meeting downtown for 2 hours then had to drive 45 mins back to the office.

    I have done 2 days of jazzercise this week and will get one more in before the end of the challenge so I think I will be at 11/17.

    Good news is that I got on the scale this morning and I am back under 220!!! I am at 218. So, hopefully by Friday I will still be under and maybe even more so. I need to lose 2 more pounds to make my goal. I am going to try really really hard!!

    Congrats to everyone on all the successes during this challenge!
    I am alreadr ready to join whatever the next one might be!!

    glad everyone is doing well!
    i had a crazy weekend, hosted a baby shower for my SIL, i didnt count my calories that day, but looking back i really dont think i did too bad, i did have some dessert, small piece of cake, and some dirt! yummy, but i only ate a little of each, i couldnt even finish it cuz it was sooo sweet! i hurt my knee somehow, i think it was my old sneakers not giving me enough support, so now i can't run on my TM, i can walk, but i'm afraid to do too much, so i dont think i'll reach my goal for this challenge, i've gone down 3 lbs since we started, so i'm just looking at it as long as i'm down, i'm going the right way.

    now if only the easter bunny would stay away!! lol
