Ok so I got on here this morning and planned out everything I will eat today.. I am hoping by seeing logged on here that I will stick to it.. Has anyone else done this with success?

Yes! That is what I do everyday now. I don't think I can do it otherwise. Sometimes I don't log dinner because sometimes I don't know what we are doing that evening But at least I know how many calories I have left. and I make better choices, say at a restaurant. I would definetly recommend it. Also, I know I cant have "junk" throughout the day because my calories are already accounted for:)

i often log a meal beforehand so i can adjust it as needed. espec for dinner. i'm a sahm so i have the time to do it meal by meal, but otherwise i would do it like daisylou. so helpful to see where the calories are going and on what.

good luck with your new system.

I usually plan my dinner first thing in the morning on here since that is generally my main meal of the day, and then I know what calories i have left to play with for the other meals, and try to plan them somewhat as well...and then i have whatever is left for in between meal snacks.

Yea! I just finished logging my food for the day so I know exactly what I can and cannot have. I do this almost every day *before* I eat, so I can rearrange if it looks like I'm going over.

I don't log my exercise until *after* it's complete though. 'Cause otherwise it feels like that much more of a chore to do it.

i this same thing and it's been working out well- though sometimes i'm not sure what i'll be eating for dinner when i log in the AM, but at least i know my calorie limits.

    good system!

Oh yeah, I log everything I think I will eat for the day first thing in the morning. I find it easier to stick to if it is planned, and then of course I know if I can have cornbread and honey after dinner!
