    Sometimes I feel like a motherless child. If I sing this in the car while I am sad, I find I can immediately sing a happy song.
    I read that a sad song validates your mood. One time a group I was with, each named their sad song -- Much to my surprise
    everyone had a sad song...and everyone was a different song. Just realized while my mother was ill for 1-1/2 years I was in
    two foster homes..No wonder this song has meaning to me. (Just realized that.)
