I decided in December that 2012 was gonna be a completely different year for me. A whole new attitude..outlook on life..a whole new me. Dec. 10 I took "before" pics and measurements..which was one of the most depressing things i've had to do to date, AND after staring at the pics and having a good cry I gave myself a good swift kick in the *ss, and i've been on the right track ever since!

I've lost right at 16 inches. and 11 lbs. Not a Drastic change, But I'm proud of it. All done with No pills..special equipment, or Gym membership. So if you're one of those that think you're not gonna be able to hit your goal without a gym full of equipment..Don't buy into that. all i've been using is a couple of workout DVD's and Just dance on the Wii. I haven't changed my diet all that much to be honest. I have counted calories, and watched portions. drink plenty of water, and watch my Sodium intake.

*happy Dance*

on an average day i do yoga first thing in the morning(20 mins)
lunch i do a workout DVD (one of Jillian Michael's or the biggest Loser for 30 mins.)
late afternoon i try to fit in Just dance or Zumba on the Wii. from anywhere to half an hour or so..depends on the amount of free time i have before starting supper.

I also take my dogs for a walk once a day for atleast 20 mins.

Thanks everybody. I can say without a doubt MFP was a big part of it. I know i have a long way to go still, but i'm not sure it would be so easy without the people i've met here. It makes a huge difference when you have a huge support system. I don't always feel the support at home, and not because my husband isn't supportive of my weight loss..it's just that he isn't going through it, so it's hard for him to sympathize with the ups and downs i'm going through. Here y'all get me. and i'm grateful for that!
