Trying to lose weight to feel better

I've struggled with my weight for years. Two years ago I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. It's a complicated disorder with so many side effects. One of which can be weight gain from the medications I have to take to try to control the pain. It's not an excuse just a fact. I've been researching ways to help better control my symptoms one of them is exercise and weightless if you are overweight. So here I go down this path.
I'm also just a little vain I want to look better in my clothes. But I find it so hard to restrict calories and move my fat butt. Quitting cigarettes was easier for me. My husband and I are doing this together but if anyone would like to be friends it might help me to know that I'm accountable to someone else.
Thanks

Welcome! I am new here, too. I have a long way to go, and lots of reasons I could use to convince myself I can't do it... so I need some friends to help drag me back to my feet when I stumble.0
