Hey everyone! This is my first question :p
I was just wondering if anyone can help me out on this.
My fat loves my muscles way too much. I can't seem to get rid of it. I eat healthy most of the time, (specially breakfast and snacks). I work out almost every day, i do muscle work and some cardio, but my main goal right now if to lose that fat, in order to actually see the muscles. I am very heavy compared to how i look. I am 1m67cm and 68 kilograms (at some point I was 60 kilos, i do not know what happend there. thats why I am back on mfp :D ) . Can anyone tell me what kind of cardio i need to do? for how long per session? internsity level? I have a very thick figure because of my muscle + fat combo, it doesnt look very feminine, i'd just like to lean-up a bit. Thanks ! :)

Additionnal info: I love running, and I love food. I eat between 1500-1800 calories a day.

strength, strength and more strength training. Try and get a good amount of protein, MFP has protein set very low, i changed mine from 15% to 30% and try and get 100g a day.

You dont say how long you have been trying to get rid of the fat but its a sloooooow process, so you need to try and be patient, and aim for 1lb a week to keep it healthy and sustainable, especially if you dont have a large amount of weight to lose (from your ticker and picture you dont). make sure you eat back your exercise cals as well.

    hope that helps x

hey, well I do alot of strength training, and I feel like I'm building more muscle under fat, so I was considering just doing alot more cardio and less muscle work. But at the same time, I do not want to lose any muscle. Is that a bad idea?
About protein, I don't eat meat, and barely eat chicken but I try to get to 70g a day... And according to my metabolic type (slow metabolizer), aparently I should be getting 60%carbs, 25% protein and 15% fat. I am stuck between: muscle work (bulking up), or cardio (only concentrating on "fat loss" ) I've always had this problem really. On and off with weight these days. I've been really trying for about a month, havnt seen any changes so far. I'm doing something wrong...
