Learned a lot in a few days...

Have you learned anything about your personal eating pattern that makes or breaks your ability to stay on program during the day?
Last two days have not been so good. Not eating out of control (which is a very positive thing) but definately not eating what I wanted to.
Looked back over my food logs... initially had been starting my day out with 2 eggs. By the time evening rolled around I wanted something to munch on, though not starving, so I skipped the eggs and just went with the mid morning yogurt and fruit. Bad thing. This lead to me feeling STARVED, and hence I started fixating on things like cake and cream filled doughnuts. And then... 2 days of eating them plus a double cheeseburger. Portions were not out of control (again, very good thing for me, because I can eat like a linebacker) but I am really trying to stick to a non-processed diet most of the time with a once to twice a week treat that is planned... not just eaten because I am starving.
So, starting back... and making the committement to it right here... this morning.
Had a serving of my own made (and therefore calorie controlled) tuna salad for breakfast... 208 caloriers well spent toward not feeling starved all day. Will have yogurt and fruit mid morning (or with lunch considering time of day)

Excellent decision, I found out early on that a good dose of protein in the morning keeps me going through the day. Without it, I am lost way before lunch and craving carbs, eeekkkk.0

I add some raw almonds to my breakfast a lot of morning, good fats, and fill me up!0
