gravy/fries and alcohol....lovely combo for someone concerned with their weight...

    Max,

Did Tam and I actually stump you...are you at a loss for words?
Until you have brown gravy and fries in the am hours in a Jersey diner....you don't know what true greasy trashy food is all about

Just mix all that in one bowl and go at it.

No I'd have to have each individual taste!

Kim, when I first came out to the East Coast from Oregon, I was 18...and my first job as a nanny was in Chester, New Jersey. That is where I first saw fries with brown gravy on a menu!

And that is when I also realized that "gravy" could also be a red sauce with sausage, etc...that Italians put on pasta!!!! I worked for Italians and when they first said they were making "gravy" for the pasta...I was like " GRAVY????"

Too funny! Now, very few things faze me!!:glasses:

And also when you realized that yankees are just plumb goofy.
So, I should have come to Texas and worked as a nanny instead?????

    Max,

Oh NO, don't start throwing around the YANKEE word....

    Tam,

To me, gravy is brown and the red stuff you eat with pasta is SAUCE
BUT, based on my experience, the real hard core Italians call the red stuff with pasta gravy...I think that's how it works...

I'm Czech and German...so what do I know?
    LOL

my last meal would have to be
My pastellios ( Puerto Rican style meat patties )
My mom's red rice and beans
my husband's macaroni and cheese and his collard greens with turkey parts
my father in laws bean soup
my mother in laws red velvet cake
    my grandmothers pork shoulder
then drink a white russian with an extra shot of vodka
and have a cold coors light ( I know why eat all that and end it with a coors light but I like it better than regular coors. )

Yes I come from a bunch of great cooks and if I must go should have it all

    Dear Kim,

    My last meal would be:

    Ribeye steak
    Fully-loaded baked potato
Salad (with bacon and blue cheese)
    Cream-based soup
    Blueberry pie.

    Max

What he said, just change the dessert to hot apple pie with Bluebell Homemade Vanilla ice cream
