Aww Shanta, don't feel discourage. These things take time! Be proud of your accomplishment of losing 15lbs! I am going through the same thing actually. I lost 15lbs in a month and still feel fat but I think, It took my 5 years to gain this weight, it is going to take more than one month for me to feel good about my body again and like what I see! So don't work about the journey if you keep going because you WILL lose weight if you diet and exercise. Think about what will happen if you stop!
Keep going and you will get to the end but if you stop, no change will come and you definitely don't want that!!
Kudos to you on your weight lose!!!! 78lbs here we come!!! :bigsmile:0 -

You are not alone. I have lost 17 lbs and still have 83 to go!!!
You can do this. It's not going to be an over night thing. It will take time but just be patient and it will happen. Continue to eat healthy and exercise. Track your calories, that is a major thing for me!!! I know if I don't track them, I will go soooooooooooooo over that I end up gaining.
Don't give up. I have been on this site since 2007 but I am not giving up!!!!

We bought a bike 2 months ago. I'd been walking 2 miles 5 days a week for a couple of months, so I thought the bike would be a nice change.
:noway: Oh my gosh! I couldn't go more than 5 minutes on the easiest setting!
It was awful! I couldn't believe it!
I just had to build up my time. Now I can easily go 40 minutes on level 4. I burn 500 calories after I go to the gym - & I'm much older than you.
Just stay with it.0 -
Sometimes we get too wrapped up in the "can't"s and the "don't haves" and the bad/negative side. Take a few minutes and write down your successes. Focus on them for awhile and be proud of what you have done! And understand that you are improving your life and health. Even if you can't see changes yet, they are happening inside and your heart is thanking you!
Here, I'll even start the list for you:
1. You lost 15 lbs
2. You can ride for up to 30 mins, sometimes not but sometimes yes!! That's awesome
3. You are eating healthier . . .
4. (you get to continue from here.)
Appreciate your body for what it has done for you and that it is keeping you alive. Promise yourself you are taking better care of it and cherishing it - after all it's the only one you get! The changes sometimes happen first inside before visibly on the outside - but that is where it really counts! Good luck!0 -
Shanta, you have done excellent so far! The weight you have already lost is something to be very proud and feel good about. Being here is going to help you as well, people are so supportive and there are pages and pages of inspirations for you to browse through to boost your resolve.
Exercise bikes are sometimes a bit trying. I know that I have had an issue with mine lately too. I have been doing the 3 Mile LS Walk with Abs for days now, and some nights I will also do another 2 mile walk outside. I thought I would get back on my bike and it would be easier for me to do my 30 minutes. Wrong! I couldn't get past 20 and I was finished, and I was doing 30 before. I still can't explain what is going on, but I am just concentrating on doing the other stuff for now.
Maybe checking out some videos and mixing it up a bit will give you some added motivation. Plus, with the good weather on it's way it is nice to get out for a walk around.

15 pounds in one month---wow great start. I put my goals on the calendar---two pounds a week. You would already be through 7 weeks of reasonable goals---I personally find that quite motivating to be "ahead" of schedule. I find that if I don't lose as much one week then I still tell myself I am ahead of schedule! YOU CAN DO THIS I have lost 34 and I still have 70 pounds to go!!!
