I love Mango's but there's gotta be a better way of getting the food part off that big seed in the middle... i normally just cut off as much as i can but it always seems to just be messy and out of two mango's i don't even get a cup any idea's how to get more off the fruit off the seed???

Usually you can find them by the produce or in the kitchen essentials section of a store.
    They do come in handy.

I cut several vertical and then horizontal cuts through to the seed and then slice through where the seed and flash meet, this way you get it all off and it's already cut into bite sized pieces.

    Check this out: http://www.mango.org/en/retailers/mango-messages/how-to-cut-a-mango.aspx

If you do the inside-out mango, you can stop after step 3 and leave the cubes on the skin. Put it on a plate like that to serve, and pull the chunks of mango off with a fork, it is really pretty that way. Squeeze a lime over it, and you have a Thai dessert.

On a side note: Who knew that we have a national mango board? lol

Try the Champagne Mangoes at Costco! No, there's no champagne in them:mad: but they taste so good I'll forgive the false advertising:laugh:
