Those sound yummy. I would also suggest the following recipe from Hungry Girl. She uses fiber one cereal as the coating so you replace the empty starch with whole grain. Totally ups the nutrient factor. I also find that you can do this recipe with only 1/4 cup of egg white and a bit less than the cereal. When I made a whole yummy cookie sheet worth, the calorie cost was only 90! And with the extra nutty flavor and crunch from the roasted whole grain coating, it was satisfying and filling.

Lol. Now I'm a craving some poultry and onion rings too. i'm thinking turkey burger. It'll put me over my protein quota, but oh well. lol.

If you like the onion rings + poultry combo, you might wanna try sweet potato baked fries. The recipe is simple. shoestring cut two sweet potatoes. (makes 4 servings). in a separate bowl, whip up one egg white (the egg white in the carton doesn't work too well - It's best to use a real one). add to the eqq white some sea salt, a dash of cayenne, and about 1/4 teaspoon to 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon. Line a cookie sheet with non stick foil. spray with cooking spray. Lay potatoes out in a single layer. probably will have to cook in two batches. spray cooking spray on top. bake at 400 for about 15 minutes. Then turn and bake till brown.

    Can we say yummy?

Oh lordy. think I just talked myself into a craving for both. lol.
