Figuring out how BMR, diet, and exercise work together.

As per the BMR caculator, my BMR is 1470. Since I am moderately active, I multiplied that by 1.55 and got 2278. Does this mean my maintence calories are 1470 or 2278?

I spin 6 days a week for approx 45 mins and weight train 4 days or so. Right now, my calories are set to 1300/day and I do not eat back my exercise calories. With 130g of carbs, 114g of protein, and 36g of fat.

Should I alter these numbers or am I just over thinking things? Sometimes I really question these calculator things lol.

Well, general consensus is don't eat below your BMR, so 1470. NET! So eat back your exercise calories. Personally I have mine set to sedentary (because I'm at a desk all day) and then log my exercise. Just make sure you aren't double counting your exercise calories. Good luck!

Your maintenance calories are 2278. To keep the weight you have and to not lose any. So eat to your BMR to lose, add more to lose less, and up to 2278 to maintain weight.
