Hey guys, I'm here because I love the potential this place has. It has a great way to enter food items for tracking, a way to keep accountability with friends. I would love to see zeo (sleep) and withings (weight, bp) integration, and potentially pulling in data from garmin gps watches. Fitocracy is a cool place, Runkeeper as well, but I think this place is off to a better start. I've been through a number of food tracking apps and this one I absolutely love. Beforehand, I had encouraged friends to keep paper logs because of how pain-in-the-butt it can be to track via app/digital system. With myfitnesspal, I'm a believer in digital- and will be passing this along to everyone I've told otherwise before.
I joined here while on an existing mission to 190 lbs. In the past month I've gone from 168 to 177. I'm counting on MyFitnessPal to take me the rest of the way. I have a background in high school cross country, 8 years in the Army, P90X graduate, and currently involved with a lifting/boxing/wrestling/running program, with a 13.1 race near the end of April. I am a fan of merrell barefoot shoes, and intense amounts of cardio.
Together, we can reach and surpass all of our goals. Let's do this!

Amen. I am new at this lifestyle .....I lost 21 pounds so fare and will get to that 145 lbs if it kills me. Anyway, welcome.0

For me, I'm 6'1" and was always under 140 pounds. I just dont eat, and I'm usually very hyperactive. Even today I've missed 2 meals, and as soon as I hit "reply" I'm going to get back on track with one of them. So I complete understand the amount of mental struggle, food struggle, and everything, just from the other side of the coin. We'll meet in the middle soon!0 -
