So what is going on! I've been "dieting" for a good 3-4 months now and i've lost 13 pounds, but i've barely dropped a size. I started off as a size 11 and now i can BARELY squeeze into a 7. Am i doing anything wrong?

I dont think you are doing anything wron. Perhaps you are losing it in places that you aren't noticing as much. Perhaps a little under your chin, or thighs, etc. I know exactly how you feel, I am going through the same thing.. you should try measuring things on a regular basis. That will help you feel better about it.0

I've heard it said around the gym that you lose a size for every 20 pounds. I don't know if that's true for everyone, but if so, you're ahead.:bigsmile:0

I didn't change sizes until at least after the first 20 pounds, maybe more. It will happen. Keep at it.0

Don't get frustrated hon! I'm one of those people who can lose 15-20 pounds and barely squeeze into the next size down. That's why I've always gotten a kick out of those diet commercials where someone says "I lost 20 pounds and dropped 4 sizes" - I'm thinking "Are you 4'2"?". Anyways, it's pretty common. Are you exercising in addition to dieting? Sometimes it takes you getting active to see the change in inches... :grumble:

You are losing the fat that is surrounding your internal organs!!!! Its a really good thing! You'll start losing inches soon! If you don't see any results then you should try doing some weight training. You are on the right track, don't be discouraged!!! :drinker:0

Yeah you are losing some inches if you can fit into a 7, I usally go down about a size for every 15lbs, so I would says thats about perfect.0
