Question on the calories

I have only been using this sight for 2 weeks and I have some questions regarding calories. So I have been staying under my calorie goal all week with my exercise calories added back in. I had low fat blueberry muffin today with some roasted almonds. As long as I stay within my calories and am exercising 5-6 days a week for a half hour or more I should be good....right?? Is it ok to add not so good snacks in as long as your withing the goals?
