Hey guys,

My boyfriend and I have been cooking A LOT of recipes from skinnytaste.com. I like that it tells you the calorie count of each serving. However, of course there are variables so it's never exact. Do any of you use this website? Like/dislike?

Also, there are recipes on there like enchiladas, which, even though they're always under 300 calories, I feel guilty eating, since there are a lot of carbs, etc. Are all of you more focused on the kinds of foods you're eating or on counting calories?

  • I'll check the site out. I'm more worried about what kind of food I eat and balance then calories. But I do still go out or eat chocolate on occasion. MFP mainly helps me see what I'm eating, what I'm low on and to make sure I eat enough to fuel my body and still lose weight.

I love skinnytaste.com! I get her daily recipes straight to my email, and I go to the site every once in a while when I want to make something new. I tend to track just my calories, and try to get a good variety of food - grains, fruits, veggies, protein...rather than worry about carbs. As long as I'm under or right around my calorie goal for the day, I feel pretty good! And I love, love, love her chicken pot pie soup! ;-)
