Hello everyone,

I'm a newbie and just wondered if someone would look over my protein shake meal. I recently decided to replace one meal a day with a protein shake. I was drinking the Muscle Milk 100 calorie but switched to Ensure High Protein because it has slightly more calories but you get several more ounces and the fat & sugar don't increase as much. It doesn't taste very well so I added the shake today into the Dole Smoothie (in the freezer section, you just add juice & shake).

Below is the nutrition information. Any advice/opinions are appreciated. I don't eat hardly any veggies--I can't stand the taste, 90% of them make me automatically gag. I do eat some fruit but don't try to eat a lot due to the sugars in them. I currently eat one full meal a day, a snack (right now it's Laughing Cow light wedge (2 wedges, 35 cal. each)w/ humus dip & special K cracker chips (30 for 110 cal).

  • That does not look bad but make sure you still get enough food as well. Your body needs the other nutrients that a protein shake can not give you. I would also recommend taking a multivitamin to help out with that if you do not already take one. But it does not look bad.
