Having Problems With Calories

Anyone else have issues with occasionally ending up at dinner with a lot of calories left for the day? Today I had ~200 calorie breakfast, ~260 calorie lunch, ~300 calories of snacks (mostly fresh blueberries). That leaves me with 900 calories for dinner, which is somewhat daunting. I'm planning on a PB&J sandwich for dinner, which should take care of a chunk of calories, along with a glass of milk and maybe dessert, but some nights I get home and don't feel like eating.
Any tips on high-cal but easy on the stomach meals, or tips for not getting to this point? Any help appreciated!
