Eating times

I recently moved in with my brother and he agreed to give me a discount on the rent if I cook . Before moving in with him I would eat around 7 or 8 or whenever I would get hungry, but now cook at 430 so we are eating by 5 the latest. I've been following the new eating schedule for about 2 weeks now. If by 5 o clock I have not eaten I get very hungry. I'ts amazing how the body gets used to a schedule.
Has this happened to anybody else. Where the body would beg for food if you feed at a certain time for a week or less?
*I didnt specify dinner or lunch because my lunch is my brothers dinner. I work graveyards so I have dinner at midnight or 1 am.

I used to be very very bad and could get to 2pm without having eaten or hardly drunk a thing!! Then when I did eat it was completely the wrong things and huge portions.
I now eat every 2-3 hours and try to stick to it - easier during the week at work than on the weekends.
Breakfast - 8.30am, Morning Tea - 11.00am, Lunch - 1.00pm, Afternoon Tea - 3.30pm and Dinner - 6.30pm
After 6 weeks I can actually tell the time without looking at the clock!!0
