Stress Eating

One of my biggest inhibitors in weight loss has been stress eating. Luckily, I have found that exercise and meditation have really helped reduce this.
However, today, I feel this need to stress eat. Short story: On Monday, my ceiling began leaking really bad and sagged down. Today, my landlord decided to fix it. As I was walking out of my apartment to come for a 10hr shift as an addictions counselor, my landlord broke thru my ceiling. Lets just say, I have a skylight where I never had one before. I ended up having to lock my dogs in my bedroom so that they wouldn't eat the nasty that was falling into the apartment.
I'm stressing over what I will go home to. A huge mess from my ceiling caving in? My dogs being stressed from the noise and strange men which leads them to bad behaviors? Ugh! I want wine.

I so know how you feel! How awful!
We had leaking skylights that turned into indoor water features during the late summer/early fall. We had strange men on the roof, water everywhere (destroyed a lot of stuff, damaged my kitchen table and chairs), and a poor cat who doesn't do well with people. I binged really bad during that time. It was awful.
What you need to do is try not to dwell on it! It's happening no matter how much you stress over it. Don't let it ruin your day completely! So much easier to say than do, I know!0 -

Luckily, I pack my own food to come to work and was able to pack a pretty decent day of food (cottage cheese, chicken with brown basmati, and some raw veggies) but I know once I get home...all hell can break loose!
I'm so worried about my poor dogs. One is special needs and has severe anxiety. I hope she doesn't tear my room apart!! && tthat my landlord goes into my apartment and cleans my floors!0 -
Try focusing on the positive.. Your landlord is working on your roof instead of slacking off, you'll get a great view of the moon tonight and with this cold front we have here in Miami it's going to be a nice Breezy night, perfect for smuggling with your pups0
