Low Fat vs Whole Milk?
Yes, lactose is just another name for sugar, but I really like my milk.
And unsweetened almond milk tastes and looks like ground up and dissolved cardboard with a bit of almond flavouring.
What confuses me, is that low fat milk is suggested, but I am also supposed to look for the variation of any food that has the lower glycemic index (which would be full fat milk).
I'd been drinking 2% milk, until i started the south beach diet - no milk whatsoever for at least 2 weeks. so when I'm finally allowed to add it back in, I'm thinking full fat milk, because that should help offset the sugar. Am I wrong?
