I got mine from JC Penneys and its "Homedics" brand.

I like it but if I remember correctly it was about $60 at the time.

I think it was worth the investment.

I have a Tanika from a sports store & I've compared it with the gym & doctor's office. It still seems to match after 5 years. It computes body fat, too, but I think that function varies.

Tanita scales are very good....and somewhat expensive. Digital scales are twitchy (only on a flat surface, and sometimes when it is too damp)....i would suggest finding an ancillary place to weigh yourself. No good comes from having a scale readily available...it's very tempting to get on it too much and the normal fluctuations can sabatage a good thing.

    Good luck!
