Anybody here does rope skipping? This seems to be a good exercise for when I cannot go to the gym.
It was not easy to start. The last time I did rope-skipping as a little girl was about 40 years ago. So it took me weeks of trying before I could skip the rope for 5 minutes. But that is 45 calories at my weight! So today I skipped 3 times 5 minutes, which buys me a glass of wine with dinner :-)

I'm very uncoordinated, jumping rope is a good exercise, but I have to figure out how to get over the rope . . .0

I do it the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred way, that is with an imaginary rope! I'm too uncoordinated to use a real one!! :laugh:0

Skipping is really good excercise! I always skip in my back garden with my skipping rope.. I do it more in the summer, when the tempretures are a little higher and i really love it. I think id be lost without my skipping rope if im honest!
I'm very un co-orindated too, but once you keep practising, it will get easier0
