Hey oh Fitness pals,
My name is Andy, and I've been unsatisfied with my weight for about 10 years now. Always I said - "by then, I'll be that!" By my sweet 16, I'll lose that weight. By my 18th, I'll lose that.. 19...21.. etc..
Now I'm 23. This past summer, my best mate and I started losing weight together, and I came down from 168 to 150. This winter, with the help of much delicious chocolate morsels, I went back up to 160. Stepping on the scale (with horror!) I realized that there can be no more, by then, I'll be that. It simply never worked. And according to the mocking white contraption in my bathroom.. I've shimmied back down to 150 as of today (having lost 10 lbs after my horrific realization).
So, to introduce myself a bit more - I hail from Brooklyn, New York. I adore nature, and her animals - people I'm not always so sure about;) Anyway - I currently study archaeology in Scotland, and a side effect of this is that I've left my best mate and personal motivator back in New York. I'm hoping to find some people here who would like to be friends, I think it would be really healthy to help and be helped by others who are in similar situations - or not so similar! Either way - would love to have some friends on here:)
-cheers
