Does anyone else struggle to take in thier recommended calor

Hi I am just new at this (3rd week in). When I put in the parameters at the start of this I was told I am allowed 1200 cals per day BUT i am struggling to take that much in! The only thing I have changed since using this site is that I have cut my alcohol intake drastically to once a week and stopped putting sugar in my coffee. With these two simple changes I can barely make 1000 calories? I do have small appetite and I am rather small 5'2, small bones 44kg (around 90 pounds) but I am doing damage to my metabolism because honestly I am not going hungry or suffering (besides the alcohol). I do eat regularly and not miss meals.

Anyway I am just curious if anyone else struggles to make their daily intake? I never realised how much alcohol part of my diet until now!
