Finally! an NSV!

Yesterday I marched with my drum corps in the San Francisco Chinese New Year parade. I saw some people I hadn't seen for almost a year, and some people I see several times a month.
At least 5 people said to me "wow you look great!" or "look at Jenn all slim!" (the best part is they didn't know I have been working out!)
I go home, measure myself and I've lost 3.5 inches!! (some from my waist, some from my stomach, and some from my hips) So I went out today to buy a new pair of jeans to celebrate and I'm down a size!!!
This day is great!! And I'm totally motivated to keep up this work!!

ah thank you so much - totally applicable to me then lol dropped two dress sizes yet still weigh the same.. gotta love fitness training - great work, its totally fantastic when people you havent seen for ages realise the difference, especially as you yourself dont really recognise it as its over a period of time so your a little too close to see the full picture, if you get me well done!! 0

Really it is anytime something great happens that makes you feel good that has nothing to do with the number on the scale. like you go down a size, jeans fit better, someone notices... or one of mine was, are you ready for it?
