WHY COULDN'T I BE BORN SKINNY!?!?!?!????!?

Well there's no use crying over spilled milk. I wish, but I don't have time for the self pity right now, I'M ON A MISSION, and I've never been so determined in my entire life to shed these last few pounds. As of today I weigh 130.8lbs, before when I weighed around 145lbs thats when I decided to change my lifestyle. Yup I wasn't even that overweight, but to me I felt trapped in my own body. While my friends were giggling about parties and clubbing, I was worrying about what I should wear to them. Until finally I took control, Jan 23 2011, I finally decided to focus on weight lost. It took a year to lose those 15lbs and I plan to lose another 15. I recently just became a vegan to eat more healthy (not tofu and soy) but fruits and veggies. I love being a vegan (which really surprises me because if someone told me I was going to be vegan at one point I would not believe them) but I find that being vegan helps me a lot in my personal goal. I hate it when people tell me I look fine and that I don't need to lose weight, but I feel different, my weight is still holding me back and does not match my self image of myself. I am writing all these because tonight I feel especially frustrated. I really just want to fast forward to the weight I want to be, plus I'm worried if I'll ever make it to my goal weight. HOWEVER I DO KNOW THAT I WON'T STOP UNTIL I MAKE MY DREAM COME TRUE.

Good to hear you are enjoying the new vegan diet! You will absolutely reach your weight loss goal this way. However, from past experience of changing my eating habits to vegan strictly for weight loss, please be careful in taking care of yourself. I did this for 6 months or longer when my hair started falling out and my toenails also became detached from their nailbeds and I had to wear fake nails until they grew back. Not sure my hair ever got back to it's original thickness. I am in no way trying to discourage you, however try and be sure to get plenty of protein from your beans, tofu, etc and definitely make sure you take vitamins. These were apparently the reasons I had trouble with the vegan diet. I wish you luck with your lifestyle change and your last 15lbs! :)
