I read on here about people who eat back their exercise calories. Which I think means the difference between your daily calorie amount & the amount you burn during exercise is eatin. I guess I am curious as to what benefits this has? I thought the whole point was to not eat back the calories?
Any insight?

MFP already has the calorie deficit built into your goal without doing one lick of exercise.
When you exercise, you create a larger deficit. Too large of a deficit hurts your metabolism.
