From my knowledge, the fitbit ultra in America is $100. In the uk, the cheapest I can find is £79.99 which works out as over $125. If it was only £65 I would find it worth the money but I just can't justify the extra £15? I know that obviously there must be shipping and tax costs and everything but does anybody know a good alternative because I just can't afford £80.

What about trying a good heart rate monitor and a standard pedometer? Although, that's not going to be much cheaper... Hmmm, no idea!

Ive seen a HRM I like and can just afford but I just like the functionality and the compatability with the fitbit and would stretch my budget a little further for one. I just know my luck I will fork out £40 for another one and then the fitbit will go down in price.

Try eBay, that's where I got mine for under $90. You might even get one a little cheaper.

I'm keeping my eye out on there. Thanks for the tip, and well done on the bargain :)
