Bat wing arms and loose skin..ugg

I know a lot of you can relate. I guess this is more of a rant than a question :grumble: It is so discouraging to lose so much weight (over 100 pounds) only to be more ashamed of my arms than I was when I was big. As a big girl I used to wear sleeveless shirts all the time and I didn't care about how my arms looked. Now I am mortified over my huge bat wings. I am talking, arms like my 80 year old grandma, bless her heart LOL. I guess it felt more "normal" to have fat arms because so many people do. Not as many 30 year olds have stretched arms like mine and I feel ashamed of them. Some days are better than others I guess.
I have been doing some toning exercises and I have just recently got back into heavier weight lifting. A year ago at my lowest weight, I trained quite heavily but it really didn't do much for my bat wings. I don't have a lot of hope going into it this time. I try to wear shirts to cover the problem area and I have had to say no to cute tops more than I care to admit because I am ashamed to wear them. I wish I had the money for surgery but my daughter's orthodontic work takes priority. I hope maybe in the future to have a bit of work done. I guess by then I will be old and my saggy arms will match the rest of me  My whole body has loose skin too but I can cover that up with clothing more effectively than my arms. I wear spandex undershirts under my clothes every day to smooth out my tummy. I never go a day without wearing one. Would anyone like to share their experience with this?
