I am having a hard time staying under my carbs. I make my menu in the morning for the day. I made filled it in for today and I am over by about 50. I am not eating eating any bread today, it is all coming from the cream of wheat and fruit that I am eating.
How do you all stay below your carbs?
Thanks for the help :flowerforyou:

Limit bread and other processed on my non workout days.0

more vegitables, more lean meats.0

as long as they are complex carbs/whole wheat i think that is okay. Complex carbs keep your blood sugar even for a long time, keeping sweet cravings away, and also keeps you full.0

I had the same problem, but even "good" carbs in excess can become problamatic for some of us, I switched to replacing a few of my fruits with veggies each day, and love it, I found out how much I actually like broccolini for example!0 -

Right. too much of anything is bad. Even too much fruit. A carb is a carb. While it takes complex carbs longer to digest, once it is digested, the chemical compound is still the same, it's still converted into glucose, and glucose is still primarilly turned into fat when not needed by the body for energy. Going over by a couple daily won't necessarilly cause a problem, but going over by a bunch (I.E. 50 g) is probably not going to help.0 -
