Just got mine and I am super excited to use it. I have play around with it but I am sure I am going to have more questions along the way and hoping someone can help me since the manual is not the greatest.
The first question I have is when using the exercise mode without the chest strap, do I have to touch the HRM? And if so how many times? Just trying to figure out how it knows how many calories I am actually burning.
TIA!

I have a sportline watch also. I am not an expert, but I email them when I have questions and they are pretty quick at gettting back. I asked how accurate the calorie burn mode is and they said to try and check heart rate often. The more the better. You have to manually check it. I didn't realize this when I bought it, but they reccommended to try every 5 minutes (I know thats alot)0

Just have to add that I have figured most of it out on my own and I LOVE it!0
