Do You Eat These Eight Foods Daily?

I was reading that the following eight foods should be eaten everyday:
(1) Spinach
(2) Yogurt
(3) Tomatoes
(4) Carrots
(5) Blueberries
(6) Black Beans
(7) Walnuts
(8) Oats
Do you incorporate these into your diet? I'm going to slowly add these to mine and see if I can eat them everyday.

Nope, nor do I believe that any specific food is a requirement.
EDIT: That being said, there's nothing wrong with eating those foods if you enjoy them.0 -
Just about, except for the oats and black beans.0
-
I can't stand yogurt but the rest are good. I don't eat them every day though. I think I'd get tired of that after a while.0
-
ALL of them EVERY DAY? No. But I do eat them all often.0
-
The only one on that I've EVER eaten is oats, when i was a fat kid.
Can't stand the rest.
Will i die then?0 -

yogurt--yes
tomatoes--often
carrots--often
blueberries--sometimes
black beans--sometimes
walnuts--allergic
oats--sometimes0 -
Nope. I don't like many of them. I DID just eat a tomato though.0
-
Yes, I do believe in natural healing, good health and longevity by eating healthily. :flowerforyou:
However not everyday, I believe in variety and a good balance too0 -
They are all great for you but by the time you incorporated all of them into your diet everyday you wouldn't have a lot left over to consume other foods. I think variety is very important. Different foods have different micronutrients so it's important to mix it up. That being said I do eat everything on that list a few times a week (except walnuts-I prefer raw almonds).0
-
spinach/tomato/carrots/greek yogurt/blueberrys/oats/etc pretty much all the the walnuts I eat daily, I prefer almonds over walnuts0
-
I love beans, but more than a couple of times per week is dangerous for those around me.0

you won't see me near: walnuts (very, very high in Omega-6); black beans (legumes contain nasty things called lectins and phytates); oats (it's a grain and grains are bad stuff: see Cereal Grains: Humanity's Double-Edged Sword by Loren Cordain. It's a pdf file you can find online and read for nothing; and the only yogurt I will touch is full-fat greek yogurt.
I used to have a bowl of oatmeal and an apple every day for breakfast. I got tired of the blood sugar crash (that wonderful weak, shaky feeling) 90 mintues later and the extreme hunger that came with it. I try and eat eggs every day - they will keep me full for five hours or more.0 -
almost every one, except for the oats.0
-
I eat whole grains, nuts, low fat dairy, fresh fruits and veggies and lean meats.
I do not get into the lists of specific "must have" foods.0 -
Will do when I've won the lottery! Seen the price of blueberries at the moment?!0

I just love you! Straight to the point yet you always know what you’re talking about! I agree!0 -

Over the course of a week, usually at least 3x of each. Every day? No. Probably eat carrots and tomatoes daily though.0
-
spinach--no
Yogurt--yes
tomatoes--a lot
carrots--a few times a week
blueberries--yuck
black beans--never
walnuts--do you know how much they cost? I couldn't afford them everyday
oats--almost everyday I love my porridge0 -
No. I don't like any of those foods....ok, I will eat black beans every once in a while. I admit it.0

Even though all those those food are healthy and I find delicious. I would never eat them everyday. I truly believe that eating the same things isn't healthy (I have no research backing this.) But if you only ate those foods mentioned above every day it would get boring.
VARIETY IS THE SPICE OF LIFE.0 -
I eat the top four ALMOST daily. Yogurt (greek) EVERY SINGLE DAY! Tomatoes....prob 5 times a week. The other 2 (spinach and carrots maybe 3 times a week.0
-
I wish people would cite the source for "information" like this. As others have said, if you ate all of this, every day, you wouldn't have much room for variety. But here goes...
(1) Spinach - About once a week, other days I eat other leafy greens (kale, Chinese broccoli, bok choy) for variety.
(2) Yogurt - Pretty much never these days, I'm mostly off dairy.
(3) Tomatoes - A couple of times a week
(4) Carrots - Every day, give or take.
(5) Blueberries - Rarely, just not a fan.
(6) Black Beans - Occasionally, although I eat some bean most days.
(7) Walnuts - Occasionally, they're on my eat more of list.
(8) Oats - Probably 4 days a week, in small servings.0 -
I think it would be easier to try to eat them all at least once during your week0
-

Can't stand the rest.
Will i die then?
Yep your head will explode in 5...4...3...2...1...:explode:0 -
Not every day but several days a week, yes - though instead of just black beans I eat a variety of different types of beans and lentils. But all of the above are favorite foods, most are pretty versatile and they work for me so I eat them frequently.0

YES (1) Spinach
YES (2) Yogurt
YES (3) Tomatoes
YES (4) Carrots
YES (5) Blueberries
YES (6) Black Beans
NO (7) Walnuts - I can't really have nuts, so I eat flax seeds for my fat.
YES (8) Oats0 -

Carrots would be the only thing in that list that I eat just about everyday. I put carrots in almost everything. A good friend keeps telling me my skin is going to turn orange, which she swears can happen.
I never eat yogurt, but I eat the others occasionally.0 -
I'm trying to like walnuts. Tomatoes rarely come into the house because my husband can't eat them, and I hate the texture of blueberries. Except the chocolate covered ones. :-D
Everything else, we don't have daily but several times a week.0 -
Not daily, but I do eat everything on that list on a regular basis. But I also agree with other posters who have said that they don't believe in having to eat specific foods. If you eat clean & healthy, it doesn't matter......eat whatever fruits, dairy, vegetables, whole grains, and lean meats you prefer!0
