Elbow pain during chin-ups

I have been working on unassisted chin-ups. I've seen improvement in the last few weeks and can do three unassisted right now. Still have some work to do, but am happy with my progress.

My problem is elbow pain, mostly on my left elbow but I feel it a bit in both arms. It feels kind of like a pinched nerve, and usually bothers me for several hours afterwards.

Any thoughts/advice? Anything I can improve with my form to my help with this?

    Take some time off form working bicep/tricep, start taking Glucosamine, Chondriotin, MSM. In about 2 weeks you'll feel better, but still not 100%. When you start working bicep/tricep again work up SLOWLY, don't go right back into chin ups, start with assisted.

    Thanks...I actually just started Stronglifts 5x5 today so will be focusing mostly on squats, bench, rows, OHP and deadlifts. I don't have any pain with anything besides the chin-ups so I'll hold off on those for a while per your suggestion.

    Great program, i've had the same problem, give it time, drink your water, you'll get better.
