Fitbit-Has anyone reached & found the goal date to be accura

We are wanting to get the Fitbit for both of us, and the one particular thing I'm interested in is the goal date it gives you. For instance, it may say you should reach your goal date by a certain date. My question: Has anyone reached the date that Fitbit gives/gave you and it was accurate? I hope this makes sense.
